Yes, RealDirect is a licensed real estate brokerage in the state of New York.

Can anyone use RealDirect?
Anyone can use the RealDirect service, although some of our paid services are limited to certain areas. Currently, our premium services are limited to Manhatttan. We expect to support all of NYC shortly.

How is RealDirect different from traditional brokers and For Sale By Owner websites?
At RealDirect, we recognize that it's not just about selling your home for the highest price possible - it's also about maximizing your net proceeds and minimizing the hassle. Our products and pricing are geared towards achieving these goals.

Unlike most other brokerages and web services, we recognize that not all sellers are alike. We therefore work with you they way you want to work with us - offering everything from a basic web listing (free), to a powerful, easy to use, "do it yourself" real estate marketing platform (paid). And we also have licensed, experienced NYC based agents on staff to manage the process for those sellers that want to use our technology, but don't have the time (or desire) to do it themselves.

How will buyers find my listing if I use RealDirect?
The RealDirect platform syndicates your listings across the web to maximize visibility among potential buyers. This includes newspaper web sites and print editions (like the NY Times), web classifieds (CraigsList, Oodle, etc.), the major search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.), real estate search engines (StreetEasy, Zillow, Natefind, Trulia, etc.) and web portals (AOL RealEstate, Frontdoor.com, etc.). RealDirect also allows you to tap into your social networks (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) in ways never before utilized in real estate marketing. And finally, because we are a licensed brokerage, RealDirect allows you to tap into multiple listings services (where applicable) and let buyer's agents bring their clients to you.

I want to buy a place. Can I use RealDirect?
Buyers can find our client's listings on the RealDirect web site, and can schedule appointments directly through the innovative RealScheduler application. However, RealDirect represents sellers exclusively at this time. If you are beginning your search for a home in NYC, we recommend Natefind.com and Streeteasy.com.

I have more than one property to sell. Can I do this on RealDirect?
Currently, you can only have one property per account. If you have more than one property to sell, you will need to set up another account using a different email address than your first account, or you can contact us to have one of our agents manage this for you.

What is the RealScheduler?
The RealScheduler is an innovative, new tool that helps buyers and sellers schedule private showings and open houses, eliminating the need for back and forth between multiple parties. The seller posts times that he or she is available to show the property, and the buyer requests the open time. Some sellers may require that potential buyers fill out a brief questionnaire before being approved for a private showing.

How do I cancel my account?
If you decide you no longer want to sell your property, or you don't want to use RealDirect anymore, please contact us. We will respond to your request within one business day.
